Also make sure to have the exact date, time and place of the garage sale printed on the signage.

You can also promote your garage sale by printing some leaflets and distributing them in the neighborhood. Post bond papers in visible areas announcing your garage sale. Also try to experiment with teasers like posting signs a day before the sale to make sure that potential buyers don't miss your garage sale.

It would be more attractive to buyers if you put out long tables or shelves where you can display specific items.
